Woman who lured Robinson testifies she did not know he was an Atlantic City councilman

acKristyn Haino said she didn’t know what she had gotten herself into.

The former prostitute agreed to perform a sex act on a man who turned on his friends, she testified Tuesday. She said didn’t know that man was an Atlantic City councilman, or that his former friends would use a tape of the act to try to force him to resign.

Haino testified Tuesday at the trial of three men accused of hiring her to seduce Councilman Eugene Robinson and give him oral sex then secretly taping it. The tape was allegedly part of a failed blackmail attempt to get him to resign.

When Robinson handed her his business card after their tryst that night in November 2006, she had one thought: “Holy crap,” she said. “It was way out of my league.”

Haino was an addict supporting her daily heroin and crack habit through prostitution when she said Howard Bailey – who she knew as Shadee – introduced her to his brother, Floyd Tally.

She testified that Tally said he wanted her to perform a sex act on a friend turned “backstabber.” He would be back in a couple of days to pick her up, he said.

ACORN Scandal Becomes An Avalanche

The ACORN prostitution and tax counseling scandal is bigger than their initial defenders anticipated. Read more at NPR, and listen to their report.

ACORN Grapples With Fallout Of Damaging Videos
by Pam Fessler

DSC02024.jpgIn the video that’s been splashed all over cable TV and the Internet, a young man dressed as a pimp and a young woman posing as a prostitute are talking with an employee from the community organization known as ACORN.

But instead of giving advice on taxes and home loans, the employee in Washington, D.C., tells the couple how to buy a house without letting anyone know it’s being used for prostitution.

“All that somebody needs to do is get wind that you’ve got a house and your girlfriend is over there running a house of women of the night,” she says. “You will not have a career. You will be smeared and tarnished for life to come.”

The man is really conservative activist and filmmaker James O’Keefe, with his colleague, Hannah Giles. Their undercover videos have set off an avalanche of criticism against the liberal nonprofit, which has long been accused by conservatives of misusing federal funds and falsifying voter registration forms.

“This is shocking,” Fox talk show host Glenn Beck, who has been leading the charge, said this week. “It raises serious questions about what is going on inside of ACORN. ACORN [will] say, you watch, ‘Just another rogue employee. We had nothing to do with her.’ Really? How many employees do you have like that?”

Hopefully none anymore, says ACORN CEO Bertha Lewis. She says all the employees involved in the videos have been fired.

“We were just as shocked, surprised as anyone,” she says. “I will not tolerate that sort of behavior on my watch.”

She says the group is reviewing its training procedures and will have an independent investigator look into what happened. But the videos have begun something that might be difficult to stop.

ACORN Scandal Spreads To New York Office

That ACORN prostitution counseling scandal is spreading. The first video featured an ACORN office in Baltimore, but now more videos are surfacing that implicate a New York ACORN office with similar prostitution and tax ‘advice.’

ACORN staff taped advising woman posing as prostitute

DSC02024.jpgTwo employees of the advocacy group ACORN are shown on a hidden-camera video released Monday, apparently advising a couple posing as a prostitute and her pimp to lie about her profession and launder her earnings.

The video was the latest in a series that has already led to the firing of four ACORN employees in Baltimore and Washington, D.C. It was created by James O’Keefe and Hannah Giles and posted on BigGovernment.com, where O’Keefe identifies himself as an activist filmmaker.

ACORN spokesman Scott Levenson blasted the video shot at the organization’s Brooklyn office, saying the group believes the voices of the couple were dubbed over to alter the conversation and make the interaction appear more objectionable than it may have been.

The two employees featured in the video have been suspended while ACORN works to reconstruct the exchange that was caught on film, Levenson said.

On the video, O’Keefe and Giles enter the ACORN office, and O’Keefe can be heard explaining “we have a unique life situation” and asking if they qualify for housing help.

In a meeting with an ACORN housing coordinator and office administrator, both women apparently urge the pair to lie about their ill-gotten gains, with the administrator saying “Honesty is not going to get the house. That’s why you’ve probably been denied.”

“Don’t say you’re a prostitute thing or whatever. … You have to sit back and think and find another name for it,” says the housing coordinator, who later urges Giles to put her cash in a tin and bury it in the backyard.

The undeclared cash could be given to an uninvolved friend who could then give the funds as a gift to O’Keefe, presumably to pay for the house, the housing coordinator tells the couple.

The housing coordinator at one point seems confused about the legality of the situation, asking, “Is prostitution legalized in New York state?”

Spitzer’s vixen won’t stay down
By Brian Niemietz

Ashley Dupre Leans Against A WallAshley Dupre — the escort who toppled a governor — is sick of hiding.

Eighteen months after the scandal that took down Eliot Spitzer, the 24-year-old wants to become a singer, a mother, an author — anything but that girl.

“Everyone likes an underdog story, and everyone likes a comeback,” she said during an exclusive interview and fashion shoot with The Post. “I’m the poster child for redemption.”

She’s recording pop songs and angling for a record deal, working on a book she calls a “cautionary tale,” and on her reactivated MySpace page, she talks about love, life and wishing “luck” to her former “Client 9.”

“What I meant by ‘I wish him luck’ is that I felt like there was hope in the news that he may be entering politics again,” Dupre said, though she declined to say whether the Luv Gov would get her vote. “If people could forgive him, they could forgive me.”

Sitting in the Midtown hot spot HighBar, Dupre scoffed at the idea she ever sought out fame.

“I didn’t ask for it, but now that I have it, it’s up to me to take advantage of this platform and do something amazing. I have a voice now,” she said.

Eliot Spitzer’s hooker tells New York ladies ‘you’re no better than me!’

kristen_emperors_club_vipThe woman at the centre of the Eliot Spitzer prostitution scandal has sent out a message to New York ladies saying, ‘You’re no better than me!’

Ashley Dupre, 24, who responded to a front-page Post exclusive about Spitzer contemplating a return to office, said that she was tired of people looking down on her.

“Get real and get over yourself,” the New York Post quoted her as telling all the women out there who “just love to judge”.

“Let me say this — most girls, to varying degrees, of course, want to be pampered and have nice shoes, designer handbags and gorgeous clothes,” Dupre wrote in a blog posted on hip-hop impresario Russell Simmons’ Global Grind Web site.

“I know many women who target guys with money and use them to get these things. They toy with them, flirt, go on dates, have sex and then drop hints about that new dress . . . or being short on rent money — and the guys deliver it,” she wrote.

She then took a poke at all the women who pass judgment on her, but are engaged in “dishonest relationships” of their own.

“I see this all over New York City. Some women aren’t as vindictive, but still dive into relationships with wealthy guys who they don’t love or even find attractive, but they stay in it because they have a nice home, a car and spending money,” she stated.

“They would rather stay in an unfulfilling or loveless relationship than lose that security,” she added.

U.S. diplomat ‘caught on video in a new Russian honeytrap’
By Will Stewart

diplomat-scandalAn American diplomat in Moscow is embroiled in a sex scandal after footage apparently showing him with a prostitute was released on the internet.

The married envoy, a second secretary, was named as Kyle Hatcher by two Russian newspapers which reported unconfirmed claims that he was a CIA undercover agent.

The sex sting mirrored an incident last month in which a British diplomat in Russia, James Hudson, quit the Foreign Office after being filmed in bed with two women.

Yesterday the U.S. embassy refused to comment on the latest apparent honeytrap.

Asked if the diplomat remained in his post, a spokesman said: ‘We can’t give you this information.’

Nor would the embassy say whether he was a CIA agent.

The footage, lasting four minutes and ten seconds, was posted on the same Russian website as the explicit clip in a massage parlour which led to the disgrace of Mr Hudson, Britain’s 37-year-old deputy consul in the Urals city of Ekaterinburg.

The latest video shows 35-year-old Mr Hatcher – described as a family man – apparently making calls from his mobile phone to three Russian women, discussing meeting him at a flat.

A man resembling Mr Hatcher is then shown in a bedroom apparently checking for a hidden camera but missing the spy lens that is filming him.

The man is then seen with a woman on a double bed in semi-darkness.

Like a bad penny, Kristin Davis keeps coming up

New York madam Kristin Davis once again mugs for attention.  Read more at NewKerala.com…

Madam Davis plans to hold press conference outside Spitzer’s fundraiser

Madam Kristin Davis is planning to hold press conference outside a fund-raiser being hosted by Eliot Spitzer at his Fifth Avenue apartment for Manhattan DA candidate Cyrus Vance Jr.

And Davis’ aim behind the act is, she wants to know if Vance thinks it’’s right that she was charged with promoting prostitution, reports The New York Post.

Davis says she may hold a press conference outside the fund-raiser to ask: “Does [Vance] think it is fair and equitable that a rich, well-connected white man violated the law but avoided prosecution while an ”up-from-nothing” entrepreneurial woman did hard time on Rikers?”

2nd Love Guv Hooker Mystery Solved?

It’s just innuendo, but Deus Ex Malcontent reports some insights by way of Sirius XM Satellite hosts Opie & Anthony, who were interviewing the ubiquitous Kristin Davis…

The Infamous Mr. Ed

pennsylvanias-democrat-governor-ed-rednellA few minutes ago, the cast of the show on Sirius XM radio were interviewing Kristin Davis — not the one from Sex and the City, the former Manhattan Madam who spent four months in Rikers in connection with the Eliot Spitzer hooker scandal from last year. There’s been quite a bit of speculation that her operation at one time serviced another high-profile governor, besides Spitzer…

Well, during the interview, she admitted that someone she called “Governor X” employed her services at least ten times during a year-and-a-half period. She apparently wrote his name down on a piece of paper and showed it to Opie and Anthony, who then proceeded to spend the next ten minutes dropping hints that a 4-year-old could’ve deciphered.

“What, did he pay her in coal and steel?”

“I guess he had a little filly on the side.”

“Did he used to be an Eagles scout?”

Hmmm, with obvious hints like that, it appears the radio personalities were suggesting that the 2nd Luv Guv’s identity is Pennsylvania’s Democrat governor, Ed Rendell.  But I suppose only his hairdresser knows for sure.

High-End Hooker Tells of High Profile Politician Client

Eliot Spitzer not my only governor – hooker who worked for Kristin Davis

kristindavisAnother gubernatorial sex scandal may be looming. Even as South Carolina’s Mark Sanford waits to see whether his wife, Jenny, forgives his romp in the pampas, a New York call girl could plunge one of America’s most prominent governors into a fresh hell.

In March, we told you about a high-end escort who claimed that former New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer had gotten overly aggressive during some kinky role-play (a charge Spitzer’s lawyer called “outrageous and defamatory”).

Now the elegant blond courtesan, whom we’ll continue to call “Annie,” is talking about three “dates” she allegedly had with another state’s chief executive, who we’ll call Gov. X.

Though Annie’s former boss, ex-madam Kristin Davis, corroborates that Gov. X was a client, his spokesman flatly denies that the married politician has ever hired hookers.

Still, it’s hard not to be intrigued by Annie’s detailed story. She contends that, in the spring of 2006, Davis’ agency booked her for an out-of-state date with a man identified as “Michael.”

“He picked me up in an Italian sports car,” says Annie. “He was in his 30s, handsome enough to be an actor, an impeccable dresser. I wouldn’t think he’d have a problem getting girls.

“We went to a restaurant where the governor was dining at another table with two or three other men. Michael said the governor was a client of his. He introduced me to him. I thought it was odd that he’d introduce someone he’d hired, but the governor was very gracious. It was a brief meeting. Later, Michael and I went to an apartment our agency kept. We had sex.

“A couple of days later, Michael booked another appointment. He was supposed to come to the same apartment. I buzzed him in. When I opened the door, it wasn’t Michael. It was the governor. He was smiling. I knew what was happening. I was okay with it.

“He was a very standard client. He didn’t take the full hour. There was no exchange of money. Michael handled the payment.

“I had two more dates with the governor. Never in public. Always for just an hour, around dinner time. He’d arrive at the apartment in a suit. I never had a problem with him, like I did with Spitzer. He was always nice. There wasn’t a lot of conversation. It wasn’t a girlfriend experience, but he was relaxed. He was very appreciative, like I was giving him a sort of affection he wasn’t getting elsewhere. Later I found out he was married. His wife is quite prominent in her own right.” (Annie and Davis say Gov. X is free to say he didn’t pay for sex, since “Michael” took care of the bills.)

Lawyer: NY Gov. Spitzer met often with prostitutes
by LARRY NEUMEISTER

spitzerFormer Gov. Eliot Spitzer met regularly with prostitutes in multiple cities for 18 months before being identified as a client of an escort service and resigning in disgrace, a lawyer for an employee who arranged the trysts said Monday.

Lawyer Marc Agnifilo said his client, escort service booker Temeka Lewis, revealed key information to prosecutors before the March 2008 resignation of Spitzer, who was called Client-9 in court documents charging four employees of the pricey prostitution ring.

He said Lewis, who was sentenced Monday and received no jail time after cooperating with prosecutors, arranged meetings between Spitzer and prostitutes, including one who discovered he was the governor of New York when she saw him on television.

“There was a regularity to it,” Agnifilo said outside court of meetings Spitzer arranged with the Emperors Club V.I.P. escort service using various aliases including George Fox.

The lawyer said Lewis, 33, provided detailed information about the meetings such as the methods of payment, the locations of hotels, the approximate dates, the names of women the governor saw and the names used by the governor.

He said information Lewis provided helped the government conclude Spitzer hadn’t used campaign or government money for the meetings with prostitutes and thus didn’t need to be criminally charged. Prosecutors announced late last year that Spitzer would not be charged.

Agnifilo said Spitzer sometimes used postal money orders, a relatively unsophisticated way to move money around. He said the government investigated the money trail to establish Spitzer hadn’t used government money.

Agnifilo declined to be specific about how many times Spitzer met with prostitutes.

“I think the full truth put his involvement with the Emperors Club at more than sporadic,” he said.

But he nodded his head when he was asked if it was possible Spitzer might have sampled most of the more than a dozen escorts who were advertised by the service, which had a Web site and charged up to $5,500 an hour.

Law enforcement officials have said Spitzer, the millionaire heir to a New York real estate fortune, had spent tens of thousands of dollars, perhaps as much as $80,000, on the high-priced escort service’s women.
