Syracuse Police bust prostitution service

A suggestive ad in the Syracuse New Times prompted city police to call the person who posted it. That’s how they uncovered a prostitution service and arrested a woman offering sexual favors for money.

Concerned citizens alerted police to the ad that read, “Pleasure Island – where all your dreams & fantasies become a sweet reality.” A detective called the number listed and left a message. His phone call was promptly returned by a woman who arranged to meet him  later on on Friday afternoon.

The woman, who goes by the stage name Linda Destiny, arrived at the location in a white Escalade and offered the detective a list of sexual services for various prices. She escorted him inside the meeting place to complete the transaction and that’s when the detective arrested her.
