Pimp sentenced for prostituting girls in Atlantic City

CAMDEN, N.J. (AP) – A New Jersey man will spend more than 10 years in federal prison for prostituting underage girls in Atlantic City.

Casson L. Coward was sentenced Monday for transporting underage girls from Allentown, Pa., to Atlantic City. The 25-year-old admitted he and another man took nude photos of the girls, placed them on the Craig’s List Internet site, and kept the money the girls made having sex with customers.

He previous pleaded guilty to conspiracy to transport minors in interstate commerce to engage in prostitution.

His co-defendant, Kevin Mayfield of Pleasantville, is awaiting trial.
