Father jailed in Germany for pimping daughter

The former manager of a brothel in Berlin has been sentenced to four years in prison for forcing his daughter into prostitution from the age of 14, a court spokeswoman said Friday.

The defendant, identified only as 65-year-old Dieter H., was convicted by the Berlin regional court of incitement to prostitution, procurement, aggravated human trafficking and grievous bodily harm.

In addition to his jail sentence, the was ordered to pay 14,000 euros (19,000 dollars) in damages to his daughter, who is now 19, the spokeswoman said.

The judges said the man took his daughter several times to “swinger clubs” where the father was paid for having the teenager submitted to extreme sexual practices against her will, including being bound to a wooden cross and whipped.

Dieter H. also posted to the Internet explicit photographs of the minor, who went to live with him after spending much of her early life in homes for children.

He admitted in testimony to visiting sex clubs with his daughter but denied forcing her to go.

“He played down his actions,” the spokeswoman said.

Media reports on the case said that the defendant, who worked in the sex industry for 30 years, told the court that his daughter insisted on accompanying him to swinger clubs and that he was unable to stop her.
