Authorities shut down Beaver County Massage Parlor
Monday, February 09, 2009
State police said they shut down a Beaver County massage parlor for suspected prostitution activity.
No charges have been filed against The Golden Spa Massage Parlor, the owner or any employees, police said.
The Golden Spa Massage Parlor, operated by Twin Turtles Inc., had no business license or occupancy permit to be open in Racine, police said.
Police said state police investigators and agents with the Immigration and Customs Enforcement office Thursday gathered evidence of alleged prostitution at the shop. The agents also seized about $10,000, and they detained two women who had been working there. The women eventually were released, pending further investigation, police said.
